It looks like 2009 will turn out to be a banner year for Sandra Bullock. The actress has garnered two Golden Globe Award nominations! She has been nominated for Best Actress in a drama for “The Blind Side” and also Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy for “The Proposal”.

Annie: This is great news! I love Sandra Bullock!

Charlie: Me too! She is HOT!

Annie: I should have known you would go THERE. She is obviously a very talented actress who just also happens to be beautiful! You are just a typical male.

Charlie: I didn’t say she wasn’t talented and deserving of the nominations, it’s just….

Annie: You should stop while you’re ahead.

Charlie: You’re right; I should know better by now!

Annie: She has definitely come a long way since she was in Demolition Man with Sylvester Stallone!

Charlie: What do you mean? That was a great movie with all kinds of action; one of Stallone’s best!

Annie: My point exactly! She’s moved on to more cerebral parts.

Charlie: Well, excuse me! Those tear jerker’s you like could win awards in the category of “Most Boring Picture”!

Annie: Very funny! I suppose I shouldn’t expect much from someone who rates a movie based on the number of car chase scenes.

Charlie: If done correctly, car chases are a real art form.

Annie: Kind of like a good shoot ‘em up?

Charlie: Now you’ve got it!
