Annie: Wow! Ms. Boyle’s success is truly awe inspiring!
Charlie: Yes. Her album sold over 700,000 copies in its first week!
Annie: She has an incredible voice!
Charlie: No doubt! The sky is the limit for her!
Annie: It’s amazing that a seemingly ordinary person can come out of nowhere to find international acclaim like she has.
Charlie: And to think she is almost 50 years old and having this kind of success in an industry that favors youth!
Annie: That’s why she is such a great story; it lets the rest of us know that you don’t have to be young and beautiful to succeed. If you have talent and desire, you can make your dreams come true!
Charlie: That’s true, but it’s probably a little easier road to travel if you are young and beautiful!
Annie: Sadly, you’re right about that.
Charlie: Just look at some of the “artists” out there who don’t have half Ms. Boyle’s talent, but are at the top of the music industry anyway!
Annie: Yes, but let’s not name names. I don’t want to be “catty”!
