Cat Fact: Cats like cleanliness. It is important to clean your cat's litter box frequently. It should be done at least once per day. This will go a long way toward reducing or avoiding improper elimination problems.
The storm named Ida is unleashing her wrath on the east coast. There is flooding in many places and high winds are causing damage. Parts of Virginia are getting hammered. It’s relatively quiet here in the Midwest and we are expecting a fairly nice weekend.
Annie: Those poor people on the east coast! They have to live with these horrible tropical storms and hurricanes!
Charlie: Yes.
Annie: And out west they have things like earthquakes and wildfires!
Charlie: Yes.
Annie: Is that all you have to say?
Charlie: Look, they have the ocean nearby and mountains and all sorts of wonderful scenery. What do we have, besides corn? The occasional disaster is just the price they have to pay for living there!
Annie: The “scenery” IS pretty boring here!
Charlie: And look at the lifestyles they lead: Hiking in the mountains, surfing and boating on the ocean and all kinds of other cool stuff! Geez, we get a nice walk through a corn field!
Annie: That’s all stuff humans need to be concerned with. We have all the toys and other kitty distractions that those east and west coast kitties have.
Charlie: You make a point.
Annie: And besides, MICE really like corn!
Charlie: And WE like mice!
Annie: We also don’t like water so the farther from the ocean, the better!
Charlie: I must have lost my head there for a moment.
