Holiday Roads

Cat Fact: Just like humans, kitties should not have bad breath! Bad breath can be a sign of dental disease, such as gingivitis.

Just when we are all starting to feel the holiday joy, the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration has to bum us out! They just released a report that Thanksgiving is the most dangerous day of the year on the roads. There are more than twice as many accidents as on an average day. Of course, the alcohol involved in the holiday cheer is a contributing factor.

Annie: Holiday travel represents an absolute hazard!

Charlie: Yeah, you have to spend a whole day with grumpy relatives!

Annie: I meant ON THE ROADS!

Charlie: Oh, that too.

Annie: I can’t understand why mama and papa would want to leave US for a day, anyway.

Charlie: ….Only to spend the day with grouchy Uncle Ted!

Annie: Enough with the relative bashing already!

Charlie: On the bright side, they do bring home some tasty turkey leftovers!

Annie: I DO like turkey!

Charlie: See…

Annie: Maybe it isn’t soooo bad that they leave us for a few hours.

Charlie: Hold the gravy, please!

Annie: I just hope everyone has a joyous and safe Thanksgiving!

Charlie: Me too!
