Cat Fact: Many cat breeds have arisen from strays! For instance, The Selkirk Rex breed originated from a curly-coated female stray that was mated with a black Persian.
What would an awards show be without some controversy, technical problems and celebrity slip ups? The American Music Awards must have been a big success because it had all of these things!
Charlie: That AMA show was HILARIOUS!
Annie: What do you mean?
Charlie: Paula Abdul’s microphone was not turned on when she appeared as an award presenter, Whitney Houston couldn’t get through her song and J. Lo fell on her behind!
Annie: I don’t see the humor in any of that!
Charlie: Lighten up!
Annie: Why do males find humor in the misfortunes of others?
Charlie: These people are rich and famous; I wouldn’t call them “misfortunate”.
Annie: Of course they’re not! But why would you want to see anybody humiliated in front of millions of sets of eyes?
Charlie: I’m sure they were fine after getting in their limos and returning to their palatial estates!
Annie: Maybe you are right, but still…..
Charlie: C’mon! I saw you crack a smile!
Annie: Well…
Charlie: Uh, huh!
Annie: I must admit I do get a bit of naughty pleasure watching those rich, famous AND BEAUTIFUL women fall flat on their faces, so to speak.
Charlie: It was the other end that J. Lo fell on!
The sound of kitty laughter could be heard as Charlie and Annie ran off to play with their favorite catnip toy!
